Francisco responded to my request promptly by coming to do a quote, very reasonable, and we accepted. The crew, Juvenal and Anderson arrived early, stayed late to complete the task. The fascia boards on my workshop were in poor condition. VLR covered them with matching aluminum. They did a great job. They showed up when the said they would and finished the job quickly and professionally. No trash left behind! I highly recommend!

Great experience, Im already working on scheduling them to come back out and do more work for me. Tore my old roof off, took down 2 chimneys, replaced damage wood underneath, and put new architectural shingles on in a matter of hours!!! We hired VLR Homes to build a deck, replacing old, steep stairs off the house. Working with them is very easy with timely responses to e-mails and texts. VLR replaced our siding, roof and gutters, replaced a frensh door, and poured a stamped concrete path and steps for us. Francisco was responsive and easy to work with. He was flexible when we asked for minor changes. When one of the doors had slight damage from the factory he arranged for its replacement. The entire project was on time and on budget. We had a very good experience with VLR Homes. They have completed 2 separate jobs for us, the first one was replacing the siding on our dormers a few years ago, and it was managed very well. We were happy with our results and the price. Because of that experience, we recently contacted John at VLR to give a quote on replacing our 23 year old roof. He was timely in answering our call, making an appointment, and was very helpful in providing different samples to make our color choice. He explained the difference in brands, and returned another time to bring the actual shingles as I requested to see the material. He explained the procedure and the expected time frame to complete the work. He was able to be respectful of our time frame to have the work done. The men that worked on our job were respectful, diligent and worked long hours to complete our job, even in the face of a quick pop up storm, they were able to cover the area successfully. While it required a few additional days due to the weather, our roof is large and steep, they did a very good job and we are more than pleased with the outcome. I can easily recommend this company if you need a roof or other exterior home repairs. I have attached Before & After photos, this new roof is GAF Timberline HDZ shingles in color Charcoal, I love the updated look.

We began in sort of a turmoil due to our delayed orders on our part and no fault of VLR. Once a Bidet for one bathroom arrived, and finally the Wheelchair access walk-in Tub arrived, the VLR crew were on it! I had provided a crude drawing of what we wanted and the construction folks were artists in their own right! Here is our new bathroom closet and tub AND the bidet! They can do cuteness! I had a well house that had wood siding and shingles on the roof. The shingles had grown the best patch of moss ever. The squirrels and woodpeckers had used the wellhouse has their local form of entertainment. It was full of holes and chewed corners. I called these guys. They came to the rescue with tan siding, barn red metal roof and window shutters, and a white walkthrough door. It looks fantasticand so cute!!! They did it to match the metal barn that I just built. Everyone that sees it loves it. I am bringing them back for another project this month. Cannot wait to see how that one turns out. So, call this company for your existing or new projects. John Romero and his crew were awesome!!. Im retired, have a chronically ill husband, special needs son and am raising my 16 yo grandson. Add in four precious but needy, small dogs and the coldest days of winter. John had his handsfull with us! John went above and beyond taking care of all our needs and wants. The team was professional and pleasantly warm and friendly. They worked hard and never complained. I was amazed at their professionalism and talent. A huge tree fell on our house leaving a huge hole in our dining room/kitchen area. Wed been dealing with blue tarps and praying it wouldnt rain for months. John watched the weather, kept me informed each day as to what they would be doing. The team repaired and painted ceilings. They installed new French doors and a beautiful new roof. We were overdue for a new roof. In addition I asked if John could add on a large porch to the front of our house. Id been wanting one for years. Their prices are very comparable with anyone else I talked with. Im over joyed and thrilled with my house now. I feel safe now in my home and could not thank John and team enough. Just had these guys put in a floor for us. Great work! Helped us pick out the flooring and delivered it. Installation was fast and efficient. They are very focused on quality from removal of the old flooring to the last detail of laying down the new floor and putting in the trim. They took great care with our furniture as well. I highly recommend them and will use them again for future remodeling work.

I couldn't be happier with my new kitchen!! We chose VLR because it is a local family owned business, and because it was a big job, and Francisco made us feel right from the beginning, that it would be done right. VLR repaired our home after a tree fell during a severe storm. Leaving a hole in the roof, damaged chimney, and flattened our side porch. We had the tree removed by our tree trimmer. Then John from VLR came by to give a quote. He took the time to cover hole in roof and secure cover in place. This before being hired. VLR beat all speculation as to what kind of work we would receive. For the porch, 6 x 6 post 2 to 2 feet deep in ground with rebar and concrete. Steps with rails, heavy duty and space below step covered. Tongue and groove pine ceiling. Rails custom made with (4) 2 x 4s supporting each rail. We could go on and on about the work. Superb. Summary-roof, chimney, and porch all repaired and no engineering price increase. VLR family owned and all involved in operation. Always returned calls, text, and e-mails. We recently had VLR Homes update our 70s home. We have an A-frame and had a dark, rafter ceiling in our kitchen, dining and living rooms. We wanted to upgrade to something lighter and brighter. We contacted VLR and within days John came out to give us an estimate for a tongue & groove pine ceiling. We approved the estimate and said we were ready to go. Again, within days, a crew of five showed up to start my job. They arrived on time and did a wonderful job installing my new ceiling. They trimmed everything out and even applied two coats of sealer that makes my new ceiling look beautiful. Its exactly what we wanted. They cleaned up the construction debris and moved furniture back into place before leaving. We will not hesitate to call them again when Im ready for my bathroom remodel. We had a small job as the wind blew a piece of siding off the front of our house. I was very pleased that VLR was willing to come and look at this small job. They came in one day and completed the work with no issues. They matched our siding perfectly and the installation was done quickly. Looks like new.

Incredible service and crew! They worked quickly and the quality of work was fantastic. The crew remodeled a laundry room and bathroom, removing old tile flooring and laying new travertine tile flooring. While remodeling a plumbing issue was discovered. They efficiently fixed the plumbing issue, rerouted pipes and even moved around hookups. In addition to this they removed and installed new lighting, painted a large portion of the inside home, including vaulted ceilings and walls. The crew was very careful and covered everything when painting to protect the furniture and floors. At the end of each day the remodeling areas were swept and left tidy for the work to begin the next morning. Incredibly prompt, great quality work, reliable and overall great people! recommend using this company!

This crew was amazing -- very professional, polite, arrived early, worked non-stop and completed our roof installation in a day. The clean-up was excellent -- our front and back yards looked better after they left than before they arrived. This was our first roof installation and I had many questions. The project manager, John, was very responsive to all my questions. Our roof looks great and I would highly recommend VLR Homes to anyone, without a doubt. Also, we have an elderly neighbor who fell in his driveway while this crew was working. VLR Homes did extensive work on my home. Full-house interior painting, new flooring, and extensive electrical work. Outside they installed a flagstone patio with a firepit and hand built a hog wire fence. They removed a rotted deck and replaced with composite material. Their prices are very fair, and the owner provided the best customer service while exceeding my expectations of completion dates. Let me start off by saying that there are not enough words to describe Mr Romero and the personal positive experiences that I have had with him. He is without a doubt the most professional and kind man/business owner that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and hiring. I have hired Mr Romero on two separate occasions, a roof repair and a total roof tear off and replacement (big job). He answered his phone or called me right back every time that I reached out to him no matter the day or time. He was at the job site each day to oversee the work being performed, answered every question and addressed every additional request that I may have had. As for the quality of workmanship, well it even surpassed my OCD expectations! If you are in need of a service that Mr Romero/VLR Homes offers, do yourself a favor and at least give them a call and the opportunity to meet with you and discuss your needs............you will not be disappointed. I was very impressed with VLR Homes, they came out and did a quote the day I contacted them, had my roof done in one day less than a week after I received the quote. The roof looks amazing and I was provided with beautiful drone pictures of it to see all angles when it was completed. It was great service, fast, professional, and the BEST price I found after several roof quotes.

This is our second time using this company. We used them to vinyl side our home a few years ago. Amazing work! And they cleaned up after they were done. We just used them a few weeks ago to repair a leak in our roof. This is the most professional and respectful company weve ever used to do work on our home! Highly recommend to any homeowner! Great bunch of guys that work hard. I've seen their construction work and is beautiful. They did concrete work for me it it was ok. They were working in adverse weather due to our terrible wet winter and did an entire large pour in one day. The result was a rough and uneven finish with uneven coloring throughout. The owner did take a thousand off the price due to defects in retaining wall/sidewalk leveling and concrete work. They did underbid everyone else. I would use them in the future for construction/remodel, but concrete work is not their forte. The owner is a great and honest guy.
